MVO is a software system for adaptive music generation. Connected to interactive applications like computer games, MVO generates highly adaptive musical soundtracks in real-time, thus bringing the music experience of the cinema to the world of computer gaming. Test it!
MVO can create a real-time musical interpretation of any observable process by means of music morphing using the music of your choice.
In computer and video games the MVO is used to create adaptive musical soundtracks that interpret the state of the game in any number of independent musical dimensions. The composer controls the broad picture, what themes will be used in what scenes etc, and the MVO works out the details in real-time at the individual gaming session.
MVO can also be used as an interactive music tool. The program is then controlled either by its graphical user interface or from a midi device like your regular keyboard.
