Jonas Edlund

 


Jonas Edlund, founder of InterAmus Music Systems and the creator of the InterAmus Musifier Virtual Orchestra, has studied mathematics, music and computer science. He has a music teacher’s degree from Royal College of Music in Stockholm and a Degree of Master of Science with a major in Computer Science from the Stockholm University and the Royal Institute of Technology.
He has performed with as with as diverse artists as
Per Nørgård, Anthony Braxton and Mikis Theodorakis and worked extensively as a theatre musician including two years as performing conductor at the National Theatre of Sweden.
He commenced his work on the InterAmus while an employed researcher at the Swedish Institute for System Development, SISU, now dissolved. He has lectured on the subject of computer game music at the Gotland University, the IT-University in Kista and at the Royal Institute of Technology.
